Welcome to my portfolio, so glad you found me!
My name is Catherine Lomas, I am a Graphic Designer / Illustrator based in Hamilton, Ontario.
In 2021, I graduated from Mohawk College with an Advanced Graphic Design diploma specializing in Illustration. Soon after, I completed a UX/UI Design grad certificate in 2023.
In high school, I never imagined a future career in Graphic Design or knew anything about it. My whole life I had a passion for the visual arts and so I searched for a co-op position in the field (not that easy!) Luckily for me, a Graphic Design placement fell into my lap in 2017 and I am so fortunate to have worked two semesters and two summers with that company before heading to college to learn further.
With my work experience and pursuing Mohawk's amazing program, I continue to learn the various ends of Graphic Design and expand my knowledge of UX/UI Design. I look forward to improving each year and sharing what I love with those around me!
In my spare time, I am a walker, a biker, a strong reader, and a dog lover!
